General terms and conditions of business

 

Registration

After we receive your registration, you will receive an invoice and, if required, a placement test, which you must return no later than two days before the start of the course. This will enable us to better assess your knowledge.

 

Deregistration from a course unit

Cancellations involve administrative costs. The following costs will be charged:

-up to 3 days before the start: no costs

-1- 2 days: 50% of the costs

-without notification: 100% of the costs

 

Illness/absence

In case of absence, please notify us either by phone or email. If you notify us in good time (1 day in advance), the missed lessons can be made up later by arrangement.

 

Course Fees

The fees must be paid before the sessions start. (It includes the reservation of day and time.)

 

Duration

A lesson lasts 60 minutes. In the writing workshop, it is not the length that is important, but the number of pages. (Max. 20 A4 pages). A distance learning course includes grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, conversation and writing. Listening comprehension is done independently using the audio files in the textbook.

 

Liability

Lucia Peters accepts no liability of any kind in the home office or in the entire apartment. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage. Lucia Peters cannot be held liable for loss or theft of objects or damage caused by handling hardware and software (e.g. computer virus infection).

 

Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the offer, prices and general terms and conditions.
